The temple and community center of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is located at 2936 Esplanade Ave New Orleans, LA 70119 in a beautiful and historic neighborhood of New Orleans. The public is cordially invited to visit and attend the regular temple programs. You'll experience: enlightening discourses on the Bhagavat Gita (words spoken by Lord Sri Krishna himself), Maha Aarati, ecstatic kritans and bhajans sung to glorify Lord Sri Krishna in traditional tunes accompanied by traditional instruments, and Chanting of the maha mantra:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna,
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama,
Rama Rama Hare Hare.

You can also interact with spiritually minded individuals, and partake in the Maha Prasaada (spiritual food), a delicious free vegetarian feast prepared with love and devotion by the devotees.
